CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19): We are doing our utmost to make your travel to Ashland safe & enjoyable.

Thank you for being part of the Bayberry Inn family! We appreciate your business and hope you and your loved one’s are all safe and healthy during this time.

Recognizing the ongoing and increased uncertainty that the coronavirus is causing, our highest priority is your health and well being. With that in mind we wanted to update you on the actions that we have taken in response to the outbreak.

Consistent with CDC and WHO guidelines, we have instituted the following measures:

Please note that these guidelines may change over time, however we will ensure to keep you updated on our in-house procedures.

  • All rooms and common areas are being sanitized from top to bottom
  • All surfaces, light switches and doorknobs are being sanitized between guests
  • Self Check-in with a personal door code will be issued to you on the day of you expected arrival via text message to the cell number given to us. This code will allow you access to the main house and to your room. Check out will remain at 11 am to allow for a 48 hrs. cleaning and disinfecting period to the room. A receipt will be emailed to you upon your departure.
  • In lieu of our family style breakfasts, we will be doing an individual breakfast per person per room.
    • The breakfast will consist of fresh coffee with to go cups, and a continental style breakfast.
    • This breakfast can be for the road to-go or taken back to your room to eat in quiet.
    • The breakfast will consist of freshly baked goods of the day and a fresh fruit parfait etc.
    • Please ensure to confirm dietary requirements when booking.
  • Suspended and limited housekeeping services, so that no one will be entering your room during your stay.
  • Fresh towels and amenities will be replaced daily upon request as well as trash removal.

 

COVID-19 Temporary Cancellation Policy.

For new & last minute bookings, we will take a credit card to hold the room but will not charge you until your arrival, but only if the reservation is made by phone with the Innkeeper Francesca. We know you might need to change your travel plans at the last minute due to the current pandemic, therefore reservations made on the phone will be able to cancel up to 48 hours before arrival without any charges. We do need, however, to be prepared for your visit and have food ready for your arrival so please be mindful of communicating with us about your arrival and plans. If you make your reservation online your card will be charged automatically and our standard cancellation policies apply. Thank you. Guests will be charged 100% of the reservation for no-shows. By communicating with us, we can avoid this.

There is so much to do in Ashland

From hiking, biking, rafting, shopping, wine tasting, dining out at one of our top rated restaurants. These can all be done with social distancing in mind. Or if you prefer to eat in, there is a refrigerator and microwave available. Just let us know what you need & we will work hard to make it happen.
