Unlike most little girls, Francesca didn’t dream of being a princess when she was a child. Francesca dreamed of being the perfect little hostess – and, boy, were her tea parties the envy of the neighborhood! That’s why none of her friends were surprised when she announced that she was opening a B&B.
“Isn’t that what you’ve been doing for years?” a few friends said.
It’s her love of people, cooking and entertaining that led Francesca on this journey to her dream of running a Bed & Breakfast. And her passion is obvious to everyone who visits the Bayberry Inn.
Fun facts about Francesca: Francesca grew up in Iran until the age of 10 then moved to Palo Alto, California where she graduated from high school in 1986. Before owning a B&B, she owned an Asian antique store and dealt in contemporary Asian art in Tokyo, Japan. After living in six different countries, she has also become a bit of polyglot. Francesca speaks several languages, though she confesses not to speak any of them well! When she’s not hunting for antiques, she loves to rescue dogs, hike, ski & cook. She has been working on a cookbook for a few years now, ever since guests encouraged her to write down her recipes.
